Nyasha Soda

Law Clerk

As law clerk, Ms. Soda supports the firm’s attorneys with legal research, drafting, and litigation preparation across a range of practice areas. She brings diverse legal experience from both government and private practice, including prior roles at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California, AMN Healthcare, and the University of San Diego Veterans Legal Clinic.

Ms. Soda earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she served as Comment Editor of the San Diego International Law Journal and held leadership roles in the Black Law Students Association and Phi Alpha Delta. She was recognized with the Pro Bono Achievement Award for her commitment to public interest work. While in law school, she also worked as a research assistant and completed internships focused on trademark law, HIPAA compliance, ADA issues, and medical malpractice.

Ms. Soda holds dual undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Her interdisciplinary academic background and wide-ranging legal experience inform her analytical approach and dedication to high-quality client service.
