As a law clerk, Devin assists the attorneys with their caseload by drafting legal documents, facilitating case research, and helping with trial preparation. Devin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California at Santa Barbara, earning a degree in Sociology with a focus on Criminal Justice and the Legal System. During college, Devin worked as a law clerk for a labor employment firm in Encinitas, California, gaining experience in drafting witness statements, conducting legal research, and reviewing and analyzing case documents.
This practical experience provided her with a solid foundation to lean on when beginning her legal studies. Following her undergraduate studies, Devin obtained her law degree from the California Western School of Law and graduated Cum Laude. She made the Dean’s Honor List for five semesters and was awarded with the Academic Excellence Award in Trusts & Estates and Professional Responsibility & Legal Writing. Devin hopes to pass the bar exam to fulfill her goal of becoming an attorney. In the spare time that she does have, she volunteers with beach clean-ups and Best Buddies.
